The PP/PE/PA/PETG/EVOH Multilayer Barrier Sheet Co-extrusion Line from JWELL is a multi-layer structured sheet formed by simultaneous extrusion of plastic raw materials with different properties in a certain order and ratio. This technology enables precise control of the thickness and composition of each layer to achieve the best combination of properties. With multilayer co-extrusion technology, raw materials such as PP, PE, PA, PETG and EVOH can be skilfully combined to form multilayer co-extruded barrier sheets with excellent barrier properties, mechanical properties and appearance. Each layer assumes a specific function, such as blocking gases, water vapour, light, etc., or providing mechanical strength, heat and cold resistance. By precisely designing the structure and material of each layer, it is possible to achieve a high degree of customisation of packaging performance to meet the packaging needs of a wide range of goods.
Multi-layer co-extruded barrier sheets are used in a wide range of applications covering food, pharmaceuticals, electronic products, daily necessities, cosmetics and many other fields.
In food packaging, it can be used to protect perishable foods such as fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, dairy products, etc. and extend their shelf life;
