PVC trunking is a kind of trunks, which is mainly used for internal wiring routing of electrical equipment. Now, environmentally friendly & flame retardant PVC trunk is widely used.

1. PVC trunking has the characteristics of insulation, arc protection, flame retardant and self extinguishing etc characteristics.
2.PVC trunking mainly plays important role of mechanical protection and electrical protection.
3. PVC trunking convenient for wiring, neat wiring routing, reliable installation, and also easy to find, repair and replace wire routing line.

Flow Overview:

Raw Material Preparation → Feeding → Plasticizing/Extrusion → Moulding → Vacuum Calibration & Cooling → Haul-Off → Cutting → Stacking

1. Main Components of PVC Cable Trunking Extrusion Line
    1.    Automatic Loader (Optional)
           Function: Automatically feeds PVC powder into the extruder hopper.
           Usually adopts vacuum or screw feeding.
    2.    Conical Twin-Screw Extruder (e.g. SJSZ-51/105, SJSZ-65/132)
           Function: Heats, plasticizes, and extrudes PVC material.
           Ideal for PVC due to its good mixing and low temperature profile.
    3.    Extrusion Die (Mould)
           Custom-designed based on the cross-section of the trunking (main body + cover).
           Made of high-strength alloy steel with integrated cooling/heating.
    4.    Vacuum Calibration Table
           Function: Shapes and cools the extruded profile using vacuum suction and water spray.
           Includes vacuum pump, water pump, and cooling circuits.
    5.    Haul-Off Unit
           Function: Pulls the product continuously at a stable speed.
           Usually a double caterpillar-type traction unit.
    6.    Cutter (Automatic Cutting Machine)
           Function: Cuts the trunking into pre-set lengths (e.g., 2m or 3m).
           May use saw blade or chipless cutting systems.
    7.    Stacking Table
           For collecting and stacking finished products for further inspection or packing.
    8.    Electrical Control System
           Includes temperature controllers, frequency inverters, PLC, and HMI touchscreen for full automation.
