PVB film laminated glass is laminated glass made by sandwiching PVB interlayer film between two or more pieces of glass.The main component of PVB film is polyvinyl butyral, which is the condensation product of polyvinyl alcohol and butyral.
SGP film is a new type of polymer material with high molecular and elastic modulus by ionic bonding.SGP film (ionic film) - an ionic mixture of polyethylene terephthalate and metal salts, of which SGP is the abbreviation of DuPont's SentryGlas®Plus film.

PVB Interlayer film extrusion line
PVB interlayer can reduce the noise that penetrates the glass, lowering the noise decibel and achieving sound insulation. Laminated glass made with PVB plastic interlayer can effectively block the common noise of occasions of 1000~2000Hz.
The PVB/SGP film composite glass can absorb the impact energy without producing broken pieces. It is widely used for automotive laminated glass, sound proof glass, photovoltaic glass, color glass, etc. In addition to safety performance, it also has excellent anti-ultraviolet, sound insulation, light control, heat preservation, heat insulation, shock resistance, and other properties. It is an ideal safety glass composite material.
SGP Interlayer Film Extrusion Line
The shear modulus of SGP is 100 times higher than that of PVB, and the tear strength is 5 times higher than that of PVB. After SGP is laminated, the adhesive layer between the two pieces of glass basically will not produce sliding when the glass is subjected to force, and the two pieces of glass will be like a single piece of glass with equal thickness working as a whole. In this way, the load-bearing capacity is equal to the thickness of the PVB laminated glass load-bearing capacity of 2 times; at the same time, in the case of equal load, equal thickness, the SGP laminated glass bending degree of circumference is only 1/4 of the PVB laminated glass.
After the natural outdoor aging test in Florida, USA, accelerated weathering test in Arizona, and water boiling and baking test, there is no problem of opening and blistering after 12 years.
SGP and metals have high bond strength, such as aluminum, steel, and copper. Laminated glass made of SGP compounded with metal wires, nets, and plates can greatly improve the performance of the glass after breakage, with extremely strong resistance to damage and intrusion.
