The chemical fibre series screw is a high-efficiency extrusion equipment designed for chemical fibre spinning process, widely used in melt spinning (melt spinning) and solution spinning (solution spinning) and other production processes, its core role is to uniformly plasticise the polymer raw material, stable delivery, and ensure the purity and fluidity of the melt or solution.Specific applications include:

Technical features
Material: double alloy coated or nitrided steel, corrosion and wear resistant.

Structure: Segmented temperature control, high L/D ratio (L/D ≥ 30), barrier type mixing section, adapting to high viscosity melt.

Supporting: Work with precision metering pump and spinneret to ensure the consistency of fibre fineness (denier).

The stability of chemical fibre screw directly determines the strength, uniformity and productivity of fibre, which is one of the core components of chemical fibre industry.

Product Application

The main applicatons

1. Melt Spinning (Melt Spinning)
Polyester (PET) Spinning: The screw melts the PET chips through high temperature and high pressure, and accurately conveys them to the spinneret through the metering pump to make filament or staple fibre, which is used in apparel, home textile, industrial silk and other fields.

Nylon (PA6/PA66) production: the screw needs to be designed for high temperature resistance to avoid polymer degradation and to ensure stable melt viscosity during the spinning process, which is suitable for high-end sportswear, fishing nets and other filaments.

Polypropylene (PP) fibre: the screw is equipped with a high efficiency mixing section to improve the uniformity of the PP melt, for the production of lightweight non-woven fabrics, carpet substrates, etc.

2. High performance fibres
Aramid (Kevlar): screw with special alloy to withstand high temperature and high shear, to ensure smooth extrusion of rigid polymer melt, used in bullet-proof vests, aerospace materials.

Carbon fibre primary yarn (PAN-based): the screw requires precise temperature control to avoid impurities in the pre-oxidation stage, which directly affects the final strength of the carbon fibre.

3. Recycled chemical fibres
Recycled PET (rPET) spinning: screw design to strengthen the filtration and de-volatility function, to remove impurities and air bubbles in the recycled material, made of environmentally friendly yarn for clothing, packaging.

4. Functional Fibres
Composite spinning (two-component): screw with composite spinning box, to achieve the leather core structure, parallel structure and other differentiated fibre production, used for thermally bonded nonwoven fabrics, microfibre leather.

Additive masterbatch/functional agent: the mixing section of the screw optimises dispersion for the production of special fibres such as antibacterial, flame retardant, conductive, etc.
